Description
White with red spots heart shaped earrings on surgical steel, allergy-safe earhooks, presented in a black box. The white is a creamy white, not a sharp white. I overfired the earrings on their last firing by giving them longer in the kiln. This typically gives dark dots and a dark outer edge. On these earrings there are not many dark dots, but the overfiring has given turquoise dots and edging as well as black. I made the red spots by sprinkling red enamel on the earrings before the final firing. With the overfiring and the red sprinkles, the earrings are not perfectly identical. The back of the white heart earrings earrings have been enamelled in white as well because the enamel on the back stops them warping too much in the kiln. The hearts are just under 2cm long.
