Terms and Conditions for Sales
Shipping
Eleanor Rogerson will endeavour to post items within 3 days of receiving payment, ideally within 1 working day. Personalised or custom items will take longer as they will have to be made prior to posting, but the timescale can be discussed as part of the commissioning process. Back order items will typically take two weeks, but at busy times may take a bit longer. Free shipping is offered to UK buyers and this is typically second class small parcel with Royal Mail. Shipping to other countries is usually Royal Mail tracked and signed. Higher value purchases in the UK may be shipped with enhanced postage. Please note that I often re-use packaging.
Buyers are responsible for any customs fees, handling charges, VAT and import taxes that may apply. Eleanor Rogerson is not responsible for delays due to customs.
Returns Policy
The buyer has a right to terminate the contract and return the item even if the item is not faulty in any way (this is the consumer’s right in UK law). The buyer has the right to do this up to 14 days after receipt of the items and a full refund including the cost of the outgoing postage will be made within 14 days of Eleanor Rogerson receiving the returned item(s). The buyer is responsible for paying for the cost of return postage, plus any import fees incurred when the parcel was originally shipped. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Please note: Unless faulty, items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements are non-refundable.
Return of Faulty Goods
The buyer has a right to return goods if they develop a fault within six months of receipt of the goods. Depending on the circumstances, they may be entitled to a refund (full or partial), a repair or replacement.
Lost Items
If the item does not arrive within 14 days of the email confirming it has been posted, it will be assumed that the item has been lost. Please contact Eleanor Rogerson to discuss a refund or replacement. As the majority of items are one-offs, a replacement may take additional time to be made.

Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Comments, Reviews and Contact Forms
When visitors to this website leave comments or reviews on the site, data is collected from the form plus the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is to enable recognition and approval of any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
For users that register on the website, the personal information they provide in their user profile will be stored. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
This website uses “cookies” to track use and allow customers to purchase from the website. Please note that these cookies do not contain or pass on information that could be used to identify individual visitors or customers purchasing from this website. Please note that you are free to refuse cookies. However, for purely technical reasons this may prevent you from purchasing from this website. This is because anonymous cookies are commonly used to keep track of the contents of customers’ shopping baskets or trolleys during the checkout process. This facility ensures that the items added to (or removed from) your basket are accurately stated when you go to pay.
If you leave a comment on the site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, a temporary cookie will be set to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser. When you log in, several cookies will be set up to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
