For wall hangings, I cut an image from sheet copper and then enamel it using lead-free vitreous enamel and a kiln. If the image is cut from thicker copper it does not need a frame to protect it and can have a hook added directly to it, otherwise I mount it either on a hand-painted wooden board or frame it with a watercolour background.
