Description
Plain copper cuff bracelet. I have treated the bracelet with lacquer, but may still get darker with time. It is sold in a black presentation box. The copper is pure copper and polished so it’s bright and shiny copper.
I made this bracelet or bangle by cutting a strip of 1mm thick copper from a sheet. I polished it, then cut the ends into curves. Next I shaped it into a bracelet using a mandrel and mallet. To finish it off, I polished it again then applied lacquer.
The cuff is about 6cm diameter across the widest point and 2.5cm high, so probably about right for a small wrist. I’ve made it with an oval shape so it sits flatter against the wrist. It has a bit of flex to it, which helps for getting it on and off, especially if you like a snugger fit.
