Copper necklace based on a genuine oak leaf with a black waxed cord and sold in a black presentation box. The copper has been lacquered

Description

Copper oak leaf necklace cut from sheet copper, hanging from black waxed cord.  This necklace is based on an oak leaf I found, which I used to create a template.  I cut the oak leaf shape out of sheet copper using a jeweller’s saw.  I then used blunt cold chisels and a hammer to make dents for veins.  After that I gave it a good polish.  It will be supplied in a black presentation box. The leaf has been coated with lacquer to try to keep the bright copper colour, but it may rub off with time and wear. The pendant is 4.5cm tall.

Sometimes I vary things a little.  Sometimes there will not be knot near the leaf in the cord.  Other times there might be a clasp or there might not. The cord is black waxed cotton cord.  I keep the cord quite long so you’ve got options for length.
