Description
Oval grey enamelled necklace on silver colour, surgical steel, allergy-safe chain, presented in a black box. The oval has an oval hole in it. I made the necklace using grey opaque vitreous enamel. For the last firing I left the necklace pendant for longer in the kiln. This gave lighter and darker dots, which make it more interesting. Unfortunately for this necklace, it also made it stick to the stand. This has left tiny marks front a back and is why the price is reduced.
The chain is slightly longer than often, at 60cm total length, because it can always be made shorter with a knot. The back of the necklace has been enamelled in grey too because the enamel on the back stops it warping too much in the kiln. I’d class the grey shade as pale to mid. One photo shows the back. The pendant is 3cm high.
