Description
Dark green circle or round with a hole enamelled necklace, presented in a black box. I enamelled the necklace pendant using a shade of opaque vitreous enamel called forest green. I actually added a dark green transparent enamel on the last firing. The effect is very subtle, but means the colour is not flat. It looks a tiny bit spotty I think. The pendant is on a allergy safe, surgical steel chain. Surgical steel looks silver, but doesn’t tarnish. The chain is a bit longer than often because it can always be made shorter with a knot. I enamelled the back of the necklace in dark green too because the enamel on the back stops it warping too much in the kiln. I think the green is a middle to dark shade, like British racing green or bottle green.
The pendant is about 2.5cm diameter.
