Enamelled maple leaf wall hanging. I started by cutting a maple leaf shape out of sheet copper. After that I enamelled it using vitreous enamel. The first layers of enamel were a slightly dark red. To make the leaf more interesting, I then did a final firing with an enamel mix. The mix needed a little longer in the kiln so overfired the base red a bit. This has given a dark outer edge. The mix has given mostly blue, with a little black.
There is a hook on the back so it can be hung, plus double sided tape so it can be stuck in place. On photo shows the back.
The maple leaf wall hanging is approx 10cm wide and 8.5cm tall.
