Framed enamelled copper sitting greyhound or whippet silhouette wall hanging or wall art. It’s mounted in a wood-effect frame with watercolour background.
The dog is black, approx 13cm tall. It is sitting, looking upwards. I made it by cutting the dog shape out of sheet copper using a jewellers saw. I then enamelled it in black vitreous enamel using a kiln. The dog sags a little in the kiln, which I like as an effect because it makes it look more alive to me. This means there’s no glass on the frame, but that also helps to see the enamelling. I created a green gradient watercolour for the background. The framed sitting greyhound or whippet is mounted into a 25cm by 30cm pale oak colour frame. I’ve signed and numbered the back of the frame.
