White with colourful spots oak leaf shaped enamelled necklace on a black waxed cotton cord. The necklace comes in a black presentation box.
I started making a copper oak leaf necklace a while ago. This time I wondered what it would look like if enamelled. So I enamelled it in white vitreous enamel. On the last firing I added crushed glass pieces to give colourful dots. It’s based on a real oak leaf. I made this pendant with a slight curve to it.
The cord is slightly longer than often because it can always be made shorter with a knot. The back of the necklace has been enamelled in white too because the enamel on the back stops it warping too much in the kiln. One photo shows the back and one shows the side view. The pendant is 4.5cm high.
