Description
Pink enamelled copper necklace in a butterfly shape. I made the necklace by enamelling a butterfly shape in pink vitreous enamel. On the final firing I left the butterfly in the kiln for a bit longer. This given tiny paler and darker dots. I’d class the pink as a paler to mid pink shade, perhaps baby pink or pastel pink.
The necklace is on a silver colour, allergy safe, surgical steel chain. The chain is 60cm long – a little longer than normal because it can always be made shorter with a knot. Surgical steel looks silver, but doesn’t tarnish. The back of the necklace has been enamelled in pink too because the enamel on the back stops it warping too much in the kiln. One photo shows the back. The pendant is 2cm high and just over 3.5cm wide. It comes in a black presentation box.
