Handmade copper tealight holder shaped as a sycamore leaf with veins. The leaf has been finished in lacquer. Holds standard tealights.

Leaf shaped, copper tealight holder.  Handmade.

This leaf is based on a real leaf I found when I was walking the dog.  I think it’s a sycamore leaf, though some people think it looks a little maple-like.  I used the leaf to create a template – with less pointy tips!  To make the leaf tealight holder, I cut the leaf shape from sheet copper, add veins and then shape it. It does not come with any tealights, but holds the standard size. It has been treated with lacquer, but may still go darker with time.  The bowl is quite shallow.  I think it can be used as a bowl, tealight holder, trinket dish etc.

The leaf is about 13cm wide, 11.5cm long and 3cm high.
