Description
Hammered copper wire bangle or bracelet. I cut a length of chunky copper wire then hammer it into a bracelet shape. This gives it some texture as well as making the copper a bit stiffer. I flare the ends a little to make it a bit more interesting. The shape is more of an oval so it sits flatter against your wrist. The bangle has a little flexibility, which helps for getting it on and off, but it is stiffer than other bracelets I make. For getting it on and off, especially if you like a tighter fit, I suggest pushing the narrow part of your wrist through the gap. It is sold in a black presentation box. The bracelet has a layer of lacquer to protect it, but this may rub off with time and wear.
I currently have these variations –
– Small has a diameter of about 6-6.5cm across the widest point
– Medium 6.5-7cm
– Large 7-7.5cm
– Very small 5.5-6mm
Some have more obvious hammer marks than others – mostly the hammer marks are quite subtle.
