Description

Enamelled sitting cat wall art or wall hanging in teal colour.  I started by cutting a sitting cat shape out of sheet copper.  After that I enamelled it using vitreous enamel using teal.  Teal is a turquoise shade.  I think it’s closer to blue, but everyone sees blue and green differently so some may think he’s green.  On the last firing, I gave him a little longer in the kiln.  This has given a very thin, dark outer edge and tiny darker dots.  This makes him more interesting I think.

There is a hook on the back so it can be hung, plus double sided tape so it can be stuck in place.  One photo shows the back.  I’ve signed and numbered the back.

The cat is approx 10.5cm tall by 7cm wide.
