Enamelled copper leaf wall hanging in orange with yellow veins and overfired. The leaf has no frame, just a hook on the back. Handmade

Description

Enamelled copper leaf wall hanging, based roughly on a maple leaf.  I started by cutting a leaf shape out of sheet copper.  After that I enamelled it using vitreous enamel.  The first layers of enamel were yellow.  For the last firing I used orange, but scraped it away to give yellow veins.  I overfired it a bit (longer in the kiln) to give it dots and a darker edge.

There is a hook on the back so it can be hung, plus double sided tape so it can be stuck in place.

The enamelled copper leaf wall hanging is approx 10cm wide and 8.5cm tall.
