Description
Black, moon shaped, enamelled necklace on a surgical steel, allergy-safe chain, presented in a black box. I made this necklace starting with black enamel and then on the last firing I added other colours – this gave pale dots. The chain is slightly longer than often, at 60cm total length, because it can always be made shorter with a knot. Surgical steel looks silver, but doesn’t tarnish. The back of the necklace has been enamelled in black because the enamel on the back stops it warping too much in the kiln. The back does have marks from how the necklace was supported in the kiln.
The pendant is about 3cm tall.
