Description
Copper flower, based on a osteospermum wirlygig, with a wooden base. I treated the flower to give it an aged copper colour. The colour is protected with lacquer. The wooden base is reclaimed wood and has been stained a dark oak colour. The flower is about 17.5cm tall.
The flower is made by cutting the petals and leaves from sheet copper, texturing/shaping them and then brazing them onto a copper pipe stem. Brazing can leave dark or silvery marks and in the photos I’ve included a photo to show brazing marks.
Every item I make is unique, therefore the one you receive may differ a little from the one shown in the photo. Currently I only one of these made so if you would like more than one it will take a bit of time to make. If you want a variation to this item, please get in touch because I can do custom orders. Also, please get in touch if you would like more information.
