Description
Narrow copper bracelet with a slight spiral or overlap and hammered finish. It has been treated with lacquer, but may still get darker with time. Sold in a black presentation box. I make the bracelet by cutting strips of about 0.7cm wide copper sheet. I polish and file the strip then use a mandrel and hammer to curve it into a bracelet. The hammer I use leaves marks for an interesting finish or texture (I think). Finally, I polish it again then lacquer it.
The overlap or spiral design gives some flexibility is terms of sizing and for putting it on and off. Getting it on/off can be a bit faffy if you prefer it with a tighter fit, but I find it best to twist the bracelet as you’re trying to get it on or off, it seems to help.
I currently have 3 variations – small, medium and large. Small has a diameter of about 6 to 6.5cm, medium about 6.5 to 7cm and large about 7 to 7.5cm.
Every item I make is unique, therefore the one you receive may differ a little from the one shown in the photo. If you want a variation to this item, especially in terms of sizing, please get in touch because I can do custom orders. Also, please get in touch if you would like more information.
