Description
Chunky aged copper ring handmade from copper sheet with a hammered finish. I lightly hammered the ring, partly to make the copper a bit less bendy and partly to give a more interesting finish. To give an aged copper colour or patina, I used liver of sulphur. This gives a stable aged copper brown shade, though the shade varies every time I do it. The latest rings vary from milk chocolate to closer to dark chocolate shade brown. The chunky copper ring is made from strips of about 5 to 8mm wide copper sheet, but this varies a little. It comes in a black presentation box.
I also do this ring as a bright, shiny copper –
For the variations I’ve used UK ring sizes. I find this a handy website to compare UK ring size to other dimensions –
