Description
Navette or marquise shaped black with two white stripes enamelled necklace. I made the necklace by enamelling a copper navette shape in black enamel. On the final firing I added 2 strands of white glass. The back of the necklace has been enamelled in black because the enamel on the back stops it warping too much in the kiln. The back has some marks from how the pendant is held in the kiln. One photo shows the back. The pendant is about 4cm tall. I class the navette necklace shape as an elongated oval with pointy tips.
The necklace is on a surgical steel chain. It looks silver, but doesn’t tarnish. The chain isn’t too short.
