White butterfly neclae
White with colourful spots enamelled copper necklace in a butterfly shape. I made the necklace by enamelling a butterfly shape in a creamy white (called ivory on the label). On the final firing I added millefiori broken glass pieces to give colourful dots. I also gave it a bit longer in the kiln which has given it a darker edge. It has a slightly rippled surface because the glass pieces haven’t melted evenly. The necklace is on a silver colour, allergy safe, surgical steel chain. The chain is 60cm long – a little longer than normal because it can always be made shorter with a knot. The back of the necklace has been enamelled in the white because the enamel on the back stops it warping too much in the kiln. The pendant is 2cm high and just over 3.5cm wide. It comes in a black presentation box.
