Description
Copper tealight holder based on a waterlily.
I made this flower by cutting the leaf and layers of petals out of sheet copper with a jeweller’s saw, shaping the leaf into an upside down bowl and then brazing them all together. I then polished it and gave it a coat of lacquer. The coat of lacquer will help to keep it shiny, but it may still go darker over time. It does not come with any tealights, but holds the standard size.
The base/leaf of the flower is about 9.5cm diameter and overall the flower is about 4.5cm high.
Brazing sometimes leaves marks and on this flower there are some dark marks visible on some of the petals. Also on the outside of one petal the lacquer has bubbled a little, visible on one of the photos.
Every item I make is unique, therefore the one you receive may differ a little from the one shown in the photo. If you want a variation to this item, please get in touch because I can do custom orders.
