Description
Orange colourful trapezoid shaped enamelled copper earrings on surgical steel, allergy-safe earhooks. I made these earrings by enamelling a trapezoid shape with orange enamel. On the last firing I added millefiori pieces with the aim of colourful spots. Unfortunately the millefiori pieces didn’t melt as much as I’d hoped so are quite raised. I’ve called them trapezoid – they’re rectangular, but with the bottom slightly wider than the top. The back of the earrings have been enamelled too because the enamel on the back stops them warping too much in the kiln. They are about 3cm tall.
