Description
Teal or perhaps a slightly turquoise blue colour, trapezoid shape enamelled earrings on surgical steel, allergy-safe earhooks, presented in a black box. When I make these earrings, I put them in the kiln for longer than normal (overfired) because it gives unpredictable, but interesting and unique effects. For these earrings, overfiring gave lots of darker dots. The back of the earrings have been enamelled in same colour because the enamel on the back stops them warping too much in the kiln. The earrings are about 2cm long.
I’ve listed these earrings separately from my usual teal trapezoid enamelled earrings. This is because after I did the 2nd enamel layer I really liked how they looked so didn’t continue. They have more dots than usual. The backs aren’t as evenly covered – one photo shows the back.
