Description
Teal star shaped enamelled earrings on surgical steel, allergy-safe earhooks, presented in a black box. The enamel colour was called teal – it’s a turquoise-blue shade. On the final firing in the kiln I gave the earrings longer (overfired) because I like the random effects it gives, such as dark outer edges and dark dots. On these the marks from overfiring as quite tiny and discrete. The back of the earrings have been enamelled in same colour because the enamel on the back stops them warping too much in the kiln. The earrings are about 2.3cm long.
