Description
Square, pale green with colourful effect enamelled necklace on a surgical steel allergy-safe chain, presented in a black box. I made the necklace using pale green vitreous enamel. For the last firing I added a mixture of enamels. This gave spots, plus circles of colours. For the chain, surgical steel looks silver, but doesn’t tarnish. The chain is slightly longer than often, at 60cm total length, because it can always be made shorter with a knot. The back of the necklace has been enamelled in the same colours because the enamel on the back stops it warping too much in the kiln. The square is 3cm along an edge, but it’s hung as a diamond.
