Pale pink rectangle shaped enamelled copper earrings. The earrings have allergy safe surgical steel ear hooks and come in a black presentation box.

Description

Pale pink rectangle shaped enamelled copper earrings on surgical steel, allergy-safe earhooks.  I made these earrings by enamelling long narrow rectangle shapes with pale pink vitreous enamel.  The trapezoid shape is a rectangle, but with the bottom slightly wider than the top.  On the last firing I left them in the kiln for longer.  This has given paler and darker dots in the pink.  The back of the earrings have been enamelled too in pale pink because the enamel on the back stops them warping too much in the kiln.  The earrings did stick a little to the stand so have tiny marks on the sides.  I don’t think it’s very obvious though.  They are about 3cm tall and 7mm wide.
