Description
Blue long triangle enamelled copper earrings on surgical steel, allergy-safe earhooks, presented in a black box. The back of the earrings have been enamelled in the same colour because enamel on the back stops them warping too much in the kiln. The blue is a slightly darker blue, perhaps a royal blue or a touch darker. On the final firing, I left them for a bit longer in the kiln (overfired). This gave really tiny darker dots (which is why they’re a darker royal blue colour). I just like the effect and unpredictability of overfiring! The triangles are long, slim triangles with the widest point 1.2cm and 2.1cm tall.
