Description
Blue and white, dolphin shaped earrings on surgical steel, allergy-safe earhooks, presented in a black box. I made these earrings using creamy white enamel (called ivory). On the last firing, I used teal colour enamel over a mesh to give teal or blue spot pattern. The back of the earrings have been enamelled in the creamy white because the enamel on the back stops them warping too much in the kiln. The backs are not as smooth because of how the earrings are supported in the kiln. The dolphins are 3cm long.
